Who We Are
Sean and Sumir founded RVA Carpet Pros in 2020; located in Richmond, Virginia and servicing Richmond and surrounding cities. They hold a combined 27 years of experience cleaning carpets, upholstery, mattresses, synthetic rugs; and specialize in cleaning wool rugs.
RVA Carpet Pros implements a 3 step cleaning process. First a UV light inspection is performed to identify and locate stains; this information is used to determine the products and cleaning process needed to effectively treat and remove stains.
Second, Very Low Moisture (VLM) cleaning is performed using an encapsulating agent and counter rotating brushes. The encapsulating agent is applied to the carpet. As it seeps into the carpet it encapsulates the soil and dirt. The counter rotating brushes can then easily grab and remove these capsules from the carpet reaching all the way down to the primary backing of the carpet. The encapsulating agent in combination with the deep reach of the counter rotating brushes helps to prevent stains from returning. RVA Carpet Pros use Live Digestive Enzymes for hard to treat stains such as bodily fluids (i.e. animal urine). Very Low Moisture cleaning significantly reduces the drying time needed in comparison to traditional Hot Water Extraction method.
Third, RVA Carpet Pros perform the final UV Light inspection with the client so ensure all stains and troubled areas have been treated.
RVA Carpet Pros hold the Green Seal Certification and all cleaning solutions used during the VLM cleaning process are Green Seal Certified and safe to use around children, pets, and individuals with compromised immune systems or allergies.
